I am a video editor, 2d animator, and designer. I love clean, simple design that doesn't try too hard.
I studied architecture for three years in college before deciding to pursue graphic design. In 2012, I graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in Digital Technology & Culture. I began my career as an in-house designer for several custom apparel companies in Seattle, WA. During this time, I took a few typography classes at the School of Visual Concepts, where I learned typesetting and formatting in analog and digital formats from some amazing instructors.
After about four years, I realized the desk wasn't doing it for me. I took a break from design, working a few other jobs before finding my way in the world of freelance video editing and 2d animation. This was a great learning opportunity, and i was fortunate to be able to expand my skillset through a diverse array of client projects and personal work.
I enjoy creating 2D explainer videos, logo animations, and bringing typography to life with motion design. I have also been incorporating motion graphics into video editing projects, and think it really brings everything to life.
